Trolled, defamed or targeted by a deepfake online?
Morphed images, deepfakes, fake profiles and defamatory posts can spread in hours. Platforms must act on complaints under the IT Rules, 2021 — and content showing a person in a sexual or artificially morphed manner must be removed within 24 hours of a complaint. A cyber lawyer helps you get content taken down quickly and pursue criminal and civil remedies.
